When the video arrived I downloaded it, but didn’t watch, expecting to share it with both kids (nearly 8 and 3.5) simultaneously.

However it saved us from an almighty meltdown at the tail end of a very long car journey from the eldest when the youngest was asleep…

who disappeared under her coat for absolutely ages to watch it, without me being able to hear or see anything, re-emerging utterly entranced because Father Christmas knew about her secret wish on her list (which we, ahem, hadn’t seen), and very excited to share the video with her brother.

They watched that video repeatedly between 22nd – 26th, especially the eldest, who had become dismissive of the FCs she had seen, knowing they are just someone in a costume, and aware a boy in her class was saying FC wasn’t real, though she still believed he was…

This was a complete reversal – this was no dodgy fair Santa, with a nylon beard, but the real deal. The details in the video have been recounted to me on repeat, and for kids who are used to the concept of video calls it made complete sense that FC would have adapted to the new tech…

It brought the enchantment back this year after I thought it might be fizzling out for my eldest, though it did lead to the discovery of a very determined child hiding behind the sofa at midnight on Christmas Eve – she wanted to meet him!

Our video was fabulous. My 6 & 1 year olds absolutely loved it. And when Santa held up their photo they were amazed! Total value for money.

I used mirror-imaging to cast the video to my TV, so we watched it on the big screen – with their elves peering over the top of the TV because they had arranged this message from Santa 😉

My daughters thought you were talking directly to them, and for over 13 minutes too.

My 6 year old kept repeating things Santa had said to her, over the next few days.

This was by far the most magical Santa message ever! The kids engaged with Santa as if he was talking to them live. Totally amazing. Can’t wait to rebook next year.

Aside from our daughter being the ultimate fidget bum, this video was absolutely perfect and had her so excited to hear Santa say her full name and show her pictures from our holiday in Disney! She went shy and was in disbelief that she was being spoken to, and then began to answer back to his questions, and pulled silly faces back at him.

The video is so incredibly personal and so heartwarming and I can’t wait to get another next year as a tradition for us as a family.

Could not recommend this enough! Firmly believe this would be enough to sway a child’s belief when they’re on the cusp of not believing in Santa anymore!

My godson was absolutely gobsmacked that Santa knew his name and his favourite dinosaurs! It’s late January and he still asks to see Santa’s video. I’m really hoping to make this a Christmas Eve tradition if it’s ok with Santa.

This is the third year I’ve ordered from North Pole Greetings for my 3 Godsons. Their minds were blown when Santa knew about all their achievements this year. They love getting these videos from Santa and have been excitedly waiting to see if they’d get a message for the last couple of weeks.

I’d highly recommend this to anyone with children. It is a wonderful magical edition to the Christmas cheer. Why wait in queues to have a brief encounter with a generic Santa with a fake beard when you can have the ‘real’ Santa have a personal and meaningful ‘chat’ with your little ones, direct from his workshop?
